1. Who runs this site

chukkani.com is run by the Mana Katha team. If you want to reach a human about anything on this page, email customersupport@chukkani.com.

2. What we still hold

Until the app launched in August 2026 this site had a signup form. It is gone now. For everyone who did sign up, five things are still stored:

• Your email address. This is the reason the list exists.
• A yes/no flag recording that you ticked the consent box at the time, confirming you were a parent or legal guardian and accepted this policy.
• Your browser’s user-agent string, truncated at 300 characters. The user-agent is the short identifier your browser sends with every request, like “Chrome on Android”. It let us tell a real signup from a bot flood.
• The page you came from (the referrer), if your browser sent one, truncated at 300 characters.
• The time you submitted.

We never asked for your name, your phone number, your child’s name, your location, or anything else. There is no account to create on this site. We set no cookies of our own.

3. Why we collect it

We use your email to send you one note about the launch, which is the note you signed up for. There is no newsletter. There is no drip campaign. The user-agent, referrer, and timestamp were kept so we could clean out a bot flood if the list ever needed it.

4. Where the data lives

Three companies see parts of this data.

• Supabase stores the waitlist row: email, consent flag, user-agent, referrer, timestamp. Supabase is a third-party hosted Postgres service. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Resend sent the welcome email and will send the launch email. Resend sees the email address it is sending to, and the usual delivery metadata (whether it bounced, whether it was opened). It does not see the user-agent or the referrer.
• Cloudflare hosts the site. It sees the IP address of every request as part of normal hosting and bot protection. We do not store your IP ourselves and never attached it to your row. The “are you human?” check that used to guard the form came down with the form.

We do not sell the list. We do not share it with advertisers or affiliates. There are no advertising or tracking pixels on this site, no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Mixpanel, no Segment.

5. How long we keep it

The app launched on 20 August 2026, so this list is now on its way out. We said we would delete it within 90 days of launch, which means the whole website list goes by 18 November 2026. Once you have an account inside the app, the row is not needed for anything.

You can ask us to remove your email sooner. See section 7.

6. Children

The Chukkāni app is built for children and used by parents, and this site is written for the parent. When the form existed, its consent box was your confirmation that you were a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly hold any information about a child. There is nowhere on this site for a child, or anyone else, to type anything in.

If you think a minor’s email address ended up on the list without a parent’s permission, email customersupport@chukkani.com and we will remove it.

7. Your rights

You can, at any time:

• See what we have. Email us from the address on the list and we will send a copy of your row within 30 days.
• Have it deleted. Email us and ask for removal. We will delete the row from Supabase and remove the address from the Resend send list. We do not keep a shadow copy.
• Withdraw consent. This is the same thing as asking for deletion. If you no longer agree to this policy, we will take you off the list.

For any of these, email customersupport@chukkani.com from the address on the list so we can match the request to the right record. We will reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.

8. Security

Traffic to this site is served over HTTPS. The Supabase database is encrypted at rest, and access is restricted by row-level security rules so the table can only be read by us. Resend and Cloudflare run their own security programs.

No system is perfect. If we ever have a breach that affects the list, we will email the affected addresses within 72 hours of confirming it, and post a notice on this page.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, for example adding a new company that sees your email, or sending a kind of email we did not send before, we will update the “last updated” date at the top and, where we have a way to reach you, email everyone still on the list before the change takes effect. Editorial fixes, like typos or clearer wording, will only update the date.

10. Jurisdiction

We operate from India. By using this site you agree that any dispute about this policy is handled under Indian law, in the courts of Hyderabad.
