chukkani.com is the home of the Chukkāni app. There is no form on it, no login, and no cookies. The only thing we record while you read is an anonymous count: each page view and each tap on a store button adds one to a daily total, tagged with the page and the campaign in the link. On the download page we also count whether a visit lasted five seconds, whether the page was scrolled, and whether it opened inside Instagram or Facebook. No IP address, device ID or anything else that could identify you is stored with it. Before launch we ran an email list. We sent it one launch email on 21 September 2026 and then deleted it. This page explains what that list held and what happened to it. The Chukkāni app has its own, longer privacy policy that you’ll also see when you sign up inside the app.

1. Who runs this site

chukkani.com is run by the Mana Katha team. If you want to reach a human about anything on this page, email customersupport@chukkani.com.

2. What the list held

Until the app launched in August 2026 this site had a signup form. For everyone who signed up we stored five things: your email address; a yes/no flag recording that you ticked the consent box (confirming you were a parent or legal guardian); your browser’s user-agent string, truncated at 300 characters, which let us tell a real signup from a bot flood; the page you came from (the referrer), if your browser sent one; and the time you submitted.

We never asked for your name, your phone number, your child’s name, your location, or anything else. There is no account to create on this site. We set no cookies of our own.

3. What we used it for

A welcome email when you signed up, a note when the app changed its name, and one launch email with the store links on 21 September 2026. There was never a newsletter or a drip campaign.

4. Who saw it

Supabase, a hosted Postgres service, stored the list. The table was deleted on 21 September 2026.
Resend sent the emails. It saw the address it was sending to and the usual delivery metadata (whether a message bounced or was opened). Resend keeps its own delivery logs under its own retention policy.
Cloudflare hosts the site. It sees the IP address of every request as part of normal hosting and bot protection. We never stored your IP ourselves.

We never sold the list or shared it with advertisers or affiliates. There are no advertising or tracking pixels on this site, no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Mixpanel, no Segment. The anonymous page counts described at the top are the only numbers the site keeps, and they are stored in our own Firebase project, not with an analytics company.

5. Deletion

We deleted the list on 21 September 2026, right after the launch email went out. We kept one private offline backup for a short while in case the send needed fixing. It will be deleted no later than 18 November 2026, the 90-day deadline this policy has always promised.

6. Children

The Chukkāni app is built for children and used by parents, and this site is written for the parent. There is nowhere on this site for a child, or anyone else, to type anything in.

7. Your rights

If you want to know whether the backup still holds your address, or want it removed from the backup right away, email customersupport@chukkani.com from that address. We will reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.

8. Security

Traffic to this site is served over HTTPS. The backup is a single file readable only by us.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, for example adding a new company that sees your email, or sending a kind of email we did not send before, we will update the “last updated” date at the top. Editorial fixes, like typos or clearer wording, will only update the date.

10. Jurisdiction

We operate from India. By using this site you agree that any dispute about this policy is handled under Indian law, in the courts of Hyderabad.
